Kaish elected to WW-P school board, budget passes

Michele Kaish was elected to the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional Board of Education on Tuesday, April 17, easily beating opponent Peter Abitanto by a vote margin of 1,431 to 466, according to results posted on the district’s website.

Additionally, voters in West Windsor approved the annual school budget by a 1,472 to 596 margin. When combined with voters in Plainsboro, the budget passed 2,093 to 943.

Plainsboro residents Anthony Fleres and Yibao Xu also won seats on the board.

The district was one of only a handful statewide that opted to keep its election in April.
